“Come and see the works of God, who is mighty in His deeds toward the sons of man” -Psalm 66:5
Medieval History is a year-long course dedicated to the study of history between A.D. 30 and A.D. 1650, from the Passion of Christ to the Westminster Confession of Faith. Examining Western Civilization from a Christian perspective, highlighting both the moral triumphs and failures of the West, the course guides students to emulate the triumphs and to avoid the errors of the past. Students will be encouraged to look at historical movements and progressions in thought, doctrine, and dogma through a critical lens, analyzing the actions of kings and kingdoms according to the standard of Scripture. Above all, students will be taught to see the hand of God in history and glory in his past works. “Come and see the works of God, who is mighty in His deeds toward the sons of man” -Psalm 66:5.
