Christ Dominion Academy’s self-paced geometry course connects the student's knowledge of mathematics with the designed and orderly world that was created for them.
Geometry aims to teach students to connect mathematics with the world around them. One of the main objectives of this course is to introduce students to the order of a designed Creation and the patterns and observations to be found. At this first level, students will be given the vocabulary and ability to communicate with others while studying the findings of mathematicians before them. Logical thinking is joined with mathematical concepts in order to help students capably navigate the material world around them.
The general goal of Christ Dominion Academy’s Geometry Self-Paced class is to strengthen students in mathematical thinking and problem solving. This curriculum is designed for self-guidance through the course at the student’s own pace. The student will complete interactive lessons and submit assignments to an instructor for grading and feedback. At the end of every unit, the student will be required to contact the instructor to schedule a video proctored test.
